The questions we get asked most

  • Private chef experiences start at $149 per person. Buffet packages start at $149 per person, fully set up, served, and cleaned up. Tell us about your event and you'll have a custom quote within 24 hours.
  • All metro Melbourne and 30 km from the CBD. Brighton, Toorak, South Yarra, Carlton, St Kilda, Hawthorn, the Mornington Peninsula, the Yarra Valley. Going further? We'll come, just add a small travel fee.
  • Weekends and the November to February rush, three to six weeks ahead. Mid-week and quieter months, often five to ten days is enough. Something popped up tomorrow? Call us on +61 489 269 307. We keep room in the diary for short notice.
  • Elia designs every menu and trains every chef on the team to cook to his standard. Most events are run by his chefs. If you'd like Elia himself, ask when you book and we'll do our best, depending on the night.
  • Tell us at booking and we handle it. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, halal, nut and shellfish allergies, all looked after. Nobody at your table eats a sad alternative plate. Everyone gets something they love.
  • Menu design, ingredient sourcing from Melbourne markets and small producers, on-site cooking, full setup, service, and cleanup. You pour yourself a drink. We do the rest.

  • Yes. Backgrounds at Vue de Monde, Sofitel, MoVida, plus Michelin kitchens across Italy, France, Spain and Switzerland. Eighteen plus years combined. Full public liability insurance and Food Safety Supervisor certified. Documentation available if your venue asks.
  • Full refund 14 days out or earlier. 50 percent back between 7 and 14 days. Inside 7 days the deposit stays with us. Life happens, we get it.
